Brian Mayén is an experienced legal professional with an expertise in the business and logistics of immigration law.

As Executive Director of Hines Immigration Law, he manages the day-to-day operations of the firm, ensuring that the firm meets its strategic goals and provides its clients with the highest quality legal services. Additionally, he assists Kelsey with a variety of immigration matters, such as adjustment of status, asylum, and family-based petitions.

Previously, Brian has held a variety of roles at several immigration law firms, and he has a demonstrated record of leadership, systems building, and innovation.

Brian is a California native and has since lived in various places across Guatemala and the Midwest. With family in Guatemala, Mexico, and the United States, he understands and empathizes with the difficult realities of family separation and the pursuit of a better future. Brian is passionate about human rights, indigenous rights, child migration, and community engagement. During his free time, Brian enjoys reading, cooking, and going on long walks with his partner and two dogs, Jack and Alfred.
