• The immigration field, perhaps more than any legal field in the United States, changes almost daily - new legislation, new regulations, new cases, new administrations, and new Agency positions. Our exclusive focus on immigration law allows us to remain abreast and ahead of these changes. This focus further allows us to forge positive relationships with officers and employees of US immigration agencies, thereby further increasing our clients’ likelihood of success.

  • Unlike many immigration attorneys, we regularly use litigation (lawsuits) in Federal District Court as an arrow in our quiver of immigration advocacy tools.

  • We love finding unique and creative legal solutions to complex legal situations. We do not shy away from cases that require reopening decades-old orders, reviewing hundreds of pages of FOIA results, or exploring the overlap of the complexities of the criminal system and immigration system.

  • We always err on the side of submitting more evidence than may be necessary rather than cutting corners and submitting too little. This maximizes the chances of case approval and minimizes the likelihood of Requests for Evidence (“RFEs”) or Notices of Intent to Deny (“NOIDs”) along the way.

  • We will sit down with you, thoroughly answer your questions, and explain all possible outcomes of your immigration situation. We pride ourselves in providing clear, concise, and candid communication.

  • We see everyone who walks in our office as a unique and complex person with valid emotions. We strive to listen, validate, and encourage.

Some of our clients come to us in a state of fear, stress, or panic. Perhaps they, or someone they love, are facing deportation or stuck in ICE custody. Perhaps they are in an abusive relationship, and they fear they need that spouse to maintain their immigration status. Perhaps they were recently arrested, and, panicked about jeopardizing their status, they are desperate to speak with someone who understands that the immigration consequences of that potential conviction are more important to them than the criminal sentence itself. Perhaps they just received a document from an Immigration Agency that makes little to no sense, and they don’t know what steps lie ahead.

Some of our clients come to us in a state of both relief and confusion after just arriving to the United States. Many suffered terrible harm in their home country. The harm was so significant, and their fears of future harm so great, that they left the only lives they have ever known. Often leaving behind loved ones who could not make the journey, careers and communities they loved, they flee to seek safety and find peace in a completely unfamiliar country. Many have heard of asylum, though they soon learn the system is anything but simple to navigate. They wonder when, if ever, they can work, and when, if ever, they can feel the sense of security they fled their homes in search of.

Some of our clients come to us in a state of excitement, joy, and anticipation for the years ahead. Perhaps they have held their green cards for years, and they are excited to explore citizenship options. Perhaps they fell in love. Perhaps their fiancé is abroad, or maybe they are here and recently married but their visa is expiring. Looking forward to a lifetime of adventures, they are unsure of which hoops to jump through, and how exactly to do so.

Some of our clients come to us in a state of exhaustion. Many have waited years for decisions on their cases, often meaning years waiting years to reunite with their children or loved ones. No immigration attorney they have worked with has told them that federal litigation may be the best path forward.

We have walked alongside hundreds of clients with varying stories, fears, hopes, and dreams. Each client, each story, and each need is unique, and we strive to always provide tailored and personalized care, attention, and communication.
